About Us

The story of San Genaro FoodTech began in 1977 when José and Beatriz, a modest couple from Cañada de Gómez in the province of Santa Fe, Argentina, established their first apiary near Don Bautista Morello’s fields. This marked the inception of a family tradition in beekeeping that has flourished uninterrupted to this day.

In 1980, due to personal circumstances, the family relocated to San Genaro, where they still reside. Their dedication, hard work, and passion for beekeeping enabled them to grow their modest operation into a thriving business. By 2010, they managed 400 beehives across the agricultural regions of Iriondo and San Jerónimo in Santa Fe, a testament to their perseverance, enthusiasm, and relentless drive to improve each day.

Over the years, the Morello family has navigated numerous changes—evolving methods, emerging diseases, and shifts in floral patterns—that have impacted honey production. Despite these challenges, their commitment to beekeeping has remained steadfast, preserving a rich legacy of knowledge and culture passed down through generations.

In recent years, Pablo Campetella, another grandson of Italian immigrant, joined forces with Luciano Morello. Inspired by his Italian immigrant grandparents and a deep connection to the land, Pablo has always felt a strong bond with agriculture. After completing his studies as a public accountant and gaining experience with cooperatives and businesses in the agricultural sector, Pablo, alongside Luciano, decided to pursue the dream of transforming raw materials into high-quality products. Their vision is to bring their exceptional offerings to the global market from their small town in Argentina, showcasing their unwavering commitment to quality and excellence.
